After a long day, stepping into my kitchen, I craved something satisfying but straightforward for dinner. The aroma of honey mingling with the warmth of baked fish filled the air, bringing a sense of comfort. That's when I decided to whip up my Healthy Baked Honey Cod. This dish balances a rich sweetness with the delicate flakiness of cod, making it a delightful way to wrap up the day.

Ingredients
honey
olive oil
garlic
paprika
fresh parsley
Instructions
Get your oven ready by preheating it to 375°F (190°C). This ensures that the cod cooks evenly and thoroughly.
In a medium bowl, start by whisking together honey, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix for about 1–2 minutes until smooth and glossy.
Arrange cod fillets in a baking dish in a single layer. Pour the marinade evenly over the fish, ensuring each piece is well coated for flavor.
Let the cod marinate at room temperature for around 10 minutes. This short wait helps infuse the flavors deeply into the fish.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 12–15 minutes. The cod should be opaque in the center and flaky when done.
Once baked, remove the cod from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. This adds a lovely finishing touch.
