Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 400 g extra-lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced dill pickles
  • 1/2 medium red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
  • 1 pinch black pepper to taste

Instructions

Cooking Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ground beef and season it with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, breaking it up as you go until it's browned and fully cooked.
  • While the beef cooks, combine the Greek yogurt, mustard, and ketchup in a small bowl. Mix well until smooth to create a tasty sauce.
  • Once the beef is finished cooking, remove it from the heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the serving bowls by layering a base of chopped romaine.
  • Top the lettuce with the cooked beef mixture, followed by the halved cherry tomatoes, dill pickles, sliced red onion, and a generous sprinkle of sharp cheddar cheese.
  • Drizzle the bowls with the prepared sauce and serve immediately for a delicious, protein-packed meal.
